The synopsis for this episode is a reference to the 2011 Disney film Mars Needs Moms.
A sneak peek for this episode was shown at New York Comic Con 2023, where it was in the animation stage of production and not quite finished.
The UFO design changed between the rough animation and the final product. The ship was originally much flatter, with a window on the side and three round balls on the underside. It is not known why the design was changed.
